This came up recently when Caitlin Sarian (aka CybersecurityGirl) flagged that LinkedIn has been accused of scanning your browser every time you load their site. They’ve been accused of scanning for extensions that might reveal political orientation, religious affiliation, neurodivergence, and job search tools to expose people looking for work.
