How to close down a Google Business Profile
You might need to close down a Google Business profile because your location is closing or moving, or it's an old account where you don't actually have a location there. Here's how to do it!
Please DO NOT create an account where you don’t actually have a location. Some people advised this practice in the past to cover additional regional areas, but it will only increase your risk of having your account suspended.
Once you’re in your Google Business profile, go to the three vertical dots in the upper right-hand corner.
Click Business Profile Settings.
Click Remove Business Profile.
Go down to Remove profile and content managers. Here is where you can download your content and mark your business as permanently closed.
*One thing to note is that you have to be the Account Owner to do this.
