Instagram uses audio signals to help decide how far your Reel gets pushed. When you use audio that’s already gaining traction, you’re giving your content a better chance at being discovered by new people, not just your existing followers.
That said, trending audio should support your content, not overpower it. If it doesn’t make sense for your brand or message, skip it.
