How to clear your web browser history

Clearing your web browser history is good for your computer’s security and performance, and it can give a better picture of where your site ranks (if you don’t use Google Search Console).

ON FIREFOX

  1. Go to History in the top menu

  2. then to Clear Recent History

  3. Select the data you want to clear

  4. And the time range,

  5. Then click Clear Now.

ON CHROME

  1. Go to History in the top menu bar,

  2. Then scroll down to Show Full History

  3. Then click Delete Browsing Data on the left-hand column

  4. Select the data you want to clear,

  5. And the time range,

  6. Click Delete Data.

ON SAFARI

  1. Go to History in the top menu

  2. then to Clear History

  3. Select the time range,

  4. Click Clear History.
