How to submit a sitemap

Submitting a sitemap helps Google crawl and index your webpages more effectively, which is good for your SEO! Here’s how to do it on Google Search Console.

1. First, you’re going to log into Google Search Console.

2. If you don’t have an account already, click here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/10267942?hl=en

3. Once you’re logged in, on the left-hand column under Indexing, you’re going to click on Sitemaps.

4. At the top under 'add a new sitemap', you’re going to type in sitemap.xml after your domain name and click Submit.

5. Once submitted, a green Success status means there are no issues!
